Do Gold Rush Stars Rick Ness And Parker Schnabel Hang Out?
Gold Rush Season 14 has shown Rick Ness’s aim to redeem himself after taking a year off. He sold his mom’s home and then proceeded to rebuild his mining business with a new Team Rally. However, does Rick ever hang out with Parker Schnabel, the guy who got him started in gold mining in the first place?
According to a new interview with TV Insider, they don’t. Rick explained, “I think we are both pretty busy people. We don’t see each other very often even though we are in the same spot on the Yukon.”
Then, he revealed that he had not seen Parker in a “couple of years.” But, he did when the season started in the spring, and “It was nice to catch up and ease into something familiar.”
Gold Rush Prodigy Parker Schnabel Calls Rick Ness ‘A Survivor’
Before the Gold Rush Season 14 premiere, Rick Ness spoke again to TV Insider about returning to the gold mining Discovery series. He was asked about Parker Schnabel, and whether or not they had some conversations when he returned.
At this, Rick shared “There was a lot of talk about whether I was done for good. A lot of people believed that. He told me he heard a lot of that, but his response was always, ‘Rick is a survivor. You’re going to see him back here.’
Next, Rick shared how it affected him emotionally. “That honestly was touching. I’ve had my ups and downs with Parker, but ultimately I’ve spent a lot of time with him. He nows me. He knew I was coming back, so it was really nice.”
Rick Ness Has Named The Future Mrs. Ness
Although Rick Ness has been focusing his interviews on Gold Rush and his season of gold mining, his social media has blown up over some big news. Rick has recently revealed that he is once again engaged to Leese M. Arie, and she is the “future Mrs. Ness.”
However, he is not sticking around to make wedding plans. Instead, he has left Arizona and is heading up to the Yukon to prepare for another mining season.
