A brand-new episode of Gold Rush: White Water is set to premiere on Friday night on the Discovery Channel as the seventh season of the Gold Rush spinoff kicks off. The series description reads as follows: “Back where their gold-mining adventures began, Gold Rush alumni Dakota Fred and son Dustin persevere in the face of long odds, risking their lives for a fortune they may never realize. Assisted by a team of intrepid divers, mountaineers and bush mechanics, the Dakota Boys explore the white water rapids of McKinley Creek in Alaska, diving deep in raging torrents with a suction dredge. Not only could one wrong move prove deadly, but the guys also face wild animals, extreme temperatures and hypothermia.”

While Dakota Fred and Dustin have butted heads for years on both the original Gold Rush and this spinoff, they seem to connect on one thing, and one thing only, and that is to find as much gold as they possibly can, however they can in the Alaska wilderness.
